Smithson Valley Youth Football Association (SVYFA) operates as a 501c3. Every effort is made to keep registration costs as low as possible while still offering an exceptional experience for participants. Registration fees are utilized to fund our operating budget which includes, uniforms, equipment, field maintenance, and league fees, among other expenses. Because of this, refunds are only issued prior to May 1st or the league date for fittings, whichever comes later, less a $100 nonrefundable deposit.
After May 1st or the league fittings:
· If a participant or parent decides to voluntarily not participate, a refund will not be issued.
· If a participant is dismissed from the program because of participant or parent/guardian conduct, no refund will be issued.
· In the case of injuries or newly diagnosed long-term illnesses that will prevent the athlete from participating, a note from a licensed healthcare provider must be provided, and a refund may be issued after evaluation by members of the Board.
To request a refund, a written email should be sent to [email protected] with a detailed explanation for the request. After the request has been received, our board will review and determine whether to move forward with the refund and how much of the cost will be refunded.
